LEAGUE
Swanage Town & Herston FC picked up an impressive 4-1 win at Chapel Gate against Hosts Bournemouth Sports FC, scoring for the Swans were Joshua Reavenall-Nuete, Ocean Smith, Curtis Young & an OG, replying with the hosts consolation was Jamie Booth. Portland United FC Reserves and Wimborne Town FC Reserves played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at the Camp & Satherley, the visitors led 2-0 at the break with goals from George Adair-Charlton & Taylor Broadley only for the Blues to respond through Preston Hepburn & Harry Foden. Bottom placed Poole Borough lost again this time 2-0 against Hamworthy Recreation FC Reserves with their goals scored by Elliott Birtwistle & Harrison Whitelaw. Balti Sports picked up a deserved 4-0 win at Sherborne Town FC Reserves with all their goals scored in the 2nd half from Louis Gear, Ryan McKechnie, Devin Fry & Jonny Jay-Rowe, finally at the County Ground hosts Hamworthy United FC Reserves welcomed Gillingham Town FC with the match ending in a 1-1 draw, putting the visitors ahead was Grady Crittall only for the Hammers to equalise through Dan Lindenberg.
LEAGUE CUP QUARTER FINALS
Both ties played today resulted in penalty shoot outs .....
Holders Cobham Sports FC welcomed Bournemouth Electric FC to Merley Park and it finished 1-1 at full time with Faustino Maher putting the hosts ahead only for Dillon King to equalise. So straight to penalties and it was Electric who progressed through to the semi finals 8-7.
Meanwhile, at Alvington, Westland Sports FC made it through after winning 3-1 on Penalties after another 1-1 draw, scoring for the Bulls was Matt Steer only for the hosts Tim Trevett to restore parity and take the game to spot kicks.
