18th August 2026

Cobham Sports moved to the top of the table after they beat Hamworthy Rec Res 4-0 at home, scoring for Sports were Callum Perry, Harrison Wright & a brace from Asa Phillips, this 4th defeat on the spin sees Rec still looking for their 1st points of the season. Meanwhile, at the Broadway, the eagerly awaited clash between Bournemouth Electric & Bournemouth Sports ended 1-1 with the visitors taking the lead courtesy of Jake Terry in the 1st half only to be cancelled out by Abraham Adesoji 2nd half strike. Holt United returned to winning ways with an emphatic 5-1 win against Hamworthy United Res at Petersham Lane, scoring for the "Bulls" were Ben Hands with a hat trick, George Ashby & Oliver Wilson, whist Keith Tottingham scored for the visitors. Mere Town picked up their 1st point of the season as they battled back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at Alvington against hosts Westland Sports. with all 4 goals coming in the 2nd half, Westland's went 2 up through goals from Niall Woolard & Steve Ormrod only to see a Mere comeback with both goals scored by Jacob Rowley. Finally to North Dorset where local bragging rights go to Sherborne Town Reserves after their 3-2 win at Gillingham Town, in a game the hosts led twice in, they took the lead through Kaleb Andrews only for Alfie Calway to restore parity back cam the hosts and they retook the lead through Nick Fowler, this all inside the 1st 12 minutes. Tommy Gaylard equalised for the visitors early in the 2nd half with further goals from Alfie Calway & Josh Haskett securing the win.

3 games played tonight and 19 goals to boot, Portland United Reserves picked up their 1st point of the season and in doing so ended Dorchester Sports 100% start after a 3-3 draw at the Camp & Satherley Stadium, scoring for the Blues, who led 3-1 at the half were Preston Hepburn, Josh Tennant & Mike Powell, scoring for Sports were Dylan Ellis with a brace and Kieran Coombes with the equaliser. Wareham Rangers welcomed Wimborne Town Reserves to the Sports centre with the visitors winning 4-2 with all their goals coming in the 1st Half, Kester Wilson helped himself to a brace with Jake Collet-Carr & Frankie Fletcher also scoring. Replying for Rangers were Blake Hughes & Johnny Powell. Finally to Swanage as they won a 7 goal thriller in the Purbeck against Verwood Town, 3 goals in the opening 11 minutes et the tone, Curtis Young scored for the hosts only for Dave Kerr to equalise, a headed goal from Will Pryor put the Swans back in front. Dave Kerr got his 2nd to restore parity only for evergreen Mark Ford to put the Swans back ahead with a decent finish, back came Verwood and they equalised for the 3rd time when Sergio Cranium let loose from distance to score a belter, however there was one more twist as Curtis Young netted in injury time to secure the points.
